National Maritime Museum
National Maritime Museum
Comprehensive wayfinding and signage solution for this iconic British visitor attraction.
I led the redesign of the world’s largest (and arguably best) maritime museum following a colossal capital renovation project. The vast expanse of the National Maritime Museum spans a huge footprint in Greenwich, London. The museum needed a new wayfinding system to assist visitors as they attempted to navigate its extensive exhibition space. The new signage would feature the first implementation of a freshly conceived brand. Focusing on a new iconography system and structured information delivery, the new wayfinding and signage enhanced clarity and navigability while never imposing on the exhibition space.
