Tate Modern
The Tate Modern
Comprehensive and intuitive wayfinding design for cultural destinations with more than 6 million annual visitors from across the globe.
The Tate galleries’ signage and wayfinding and environmental design was under my watchful eye for a number of years. During that time I assisted in the comprehensive redesign of their wayfinding system, developing an unobtrusive navigation system that allows visitors to be constantly aware of their relative location in the expansive galleries. Designing everything from digital information screen content to promotional banners and posters, I carried through the bold aesthetic inherent in the brand’s design into all work – quietly revolutionising the experience for more than 6 million annual visitors.
